At Hankamp Rehab, I worked on the design of a wrist module for the eNHANCE project. The eNHANCE project aims to offer new assistive solutions for people with Duchenne muscular dystrophy and people who suffered a stroke.
An illustration of the project goal helps team members to have a shared vision. I made several concept images to propose to the team of clinicians, patients and engineers. It helps to discuss the features of the envisioned system. Is this what we have in mind? Will it look like this? Can we make it work?
The result: a prototype driven by an electromotor to support the pronation/supination motion of the forearm.
